Police chasing a wanted suspect through a neighborhood were stunned when the man bolted into a random garden and climbed straight into a trash bin, hoping officers wouldn’t find him.
Neighbors who watched the chase couldn’t believe what they were seeing: “He literally lifted the lid and just jumped right in… like a cartoon,” one eyewitness said.
But what the suspect didn’t count on was the K9 unit already deployed nearby. Moments later, the search dog locked onto his scent and headed straight toward the bin. Officers laughed in disbelief as the dog led them directly to the hiding spot.
