What looked like a high-speed getaway turned into a dramatic takedown when police used tire spikes to stop a fleeing car — then released their K9 unit to finish the job.
Dashcam footage shows the suspects’ vehicle screeching to a halt after hitting the spike strip, sparks flying as the rims scraped against the road. Before the criminals could even get out, officers opened the door and unleashed the dog.
The K9 charged straight in, pulling one suspect to the ground as officers moved in to cuff the rest. Witnesses say the whole scene looked like something out of an action movie.
The clip has since gone viral, with viewers praising the flawless teamwork between officers and their four-legged partner. Comments flooded social media calling the dog the “real hero” of the chase.
