A bizarre arrest has gone viral after a man was caught on video trying to use plastic to slide his hands free from police handcuffs.
Witnesses say he calmly slipped a piece of plastic over his hand and started working it into the cuffs, apparently believing he could free himself and make a run for it. But officers quickly noticed and shut down the attempt before he got anywhere.
The man was restrained again and taken into custody, while police couldn’t help but shake their heads at the unusual escape effort.
