A lighthearted courtroom moment has gone viral after a judge asked a young girl whether her mom should be fined for a minor violation.
The judge jokingly gave the girl two options: “Should I charge your mom $50, or nothing at all?” Without hesitation, the daughter replied: “$50.”
The mom quickly tried to explain herself, hoping for mercy, and after some back-and-forth the judge smiled and reduced it. “Okay, we’ll make it $20 then,” he said, as the whole courtroom erupted in laughter.
