A courtroom in Providence turned into a comedy show this week thanks to one very honest little girl — and the moment has the internet in stitches.
Judge Frank Caprio, known for his compassion and humour, was handling a minor traffic case involving a mum who’d racked up a parking ticket.
But it was her young daughter, no more than 5 or 6 years old, who totally stole the spotlight.
“Should I Charge Your Mum $50, Or Let It Go?”
With a playful smile, Judge Frank leaned over the bench and asked the girl a simple question:
“So… what do you think I should do? Should I charge your mum $50, or nothing?”
The courtroom fell silent, waiting for her answer.
She thought about it for a second… then proudly said:
“Fifty!”
Cue: laughter from everyone — including her mum, who covered her face, totally shocked.
Even Judge Frank couldn’t help but burst out laughing.
