A courtroom showdown turned into complete chaos after a woman — now dubbed “Courtroom Karen” by the internet — lost her $50,000 case and completely snapped in front of everyone.
Witnesses say the judge had just ruled against her, ordering her to pay the massive sum after months of legal back-and-forth. For a few seconds, she just stood there, stunned. Then she suddenly shouted, I’m the victim here! and hurled her shoe straight at the judge’s bench.
Security rushed in immediately as gasps filled the courtroom. The shoe reportedly missed by inches before bouncing off the desk and landing near a clerk, who looked absolutely done with the whole situation.
