Judge Frank Caprio — everyone’s favourite internet judge — has gone viral once again after showing incredible compassion to a woman veteran who appeared in his courtroom for a simple traffic violation.
The woman, who said she was struggling to make ends meet after leaving the military, appeared visibly nervous as she explained why she hadn’t been able to pay her tickets on time. She told the court she’d been dealing with health issues and trying to get back on her feet.
Instead of scolding her, Judge Caprio listened carefully — then did what he’s known best for: showing heart.
“I want to thank you for your service,” he said gently. “You’ve done a lot for this country. Sometimes life throws us curveballs, and we just have to help each other out.”
The courtroom fell silent before Caprio announced that he was dismissing the fine entirely. The woman was stunned — and immediately burst into tears, thanking the judge over and over.
“I can’t thank you enough,” she said through tears. “You don’t know how much this means to me.”
The emotional moment has since gone viral across social media, with users praising Caprio for his humanity.
