An influencer with hundreds of thousands of followers is facing a lawsuit after allegedly stealing content from smaller creators and passing it off as her own.
The drama kicked off when fans started noticing familiar captions, identical photos, and even full video scripts popping up on her feed — content that had already been posted weeks earlier by other creators.
At first, people thought it was just a coincidence. Then the side-by-side comparisons started spreading across TikTok and X, showing the influencer’s posts lined up perfectly with the originals.
Now, one of those creators has had enough and filed a lawsuit claiming her work was copied without permission, accusing the influencer of building a brand off other people’s ideas.
The influencer, who’s known for lifestyle and fashion content, has since limited comments and turned off tagging on her social media accounts. She’s also denied any wrongdoing, claiming her team creates “inspired” content and that she’s being targeted because of her success.
But the internet isn’t buying it. Comment sections have been flooded with receipts, and fans who once hyped her up are now calling her out for what they say is straight-up theft.
If the lawsuit goes ahead, it could set a serious precedent for creators online — proving that stealing someone’s post might just cost more than a few lost followers.
